The Jacob Sheep are ancestors of some Painted Desert bloodlines and are also being used here at Rafter SB to develop new Painted Desert Sheep Bloodlines which will take at least 3 generations. Painted Desert Registration is still "open" so these new Painted Desert Sheep Bloodlines will be registered as long as they are 1/8 Jacob or less, shed and only have Painted Desert, Texas Dall, or Black Hawaiian Sheep crossed with the Jacob Sheep. |
